Re: The Hunger Games?
ok
also, dw about dez. the costumes don't have to match. in fact, it says in the book that they usually don't, making katniss and peeta an exception.

Re: The Hunger Games?
Thank god, because Dez covered in songbirds is like... covering hitler with fluffy kittens.
Re: The Hunger Games?
Costumes mewl. One moment.
Serrin, although terrified about another public show, felt very dapper in his outfit, which consisted of a white navy jacket, with white tassels at the shoulders, followed by similarly coloured breeches - yes, they had somehow put him in breeches - finishing in boots shiny anough to make a mirror jealous. A white cap with a stiff rim perched at a jaunty angle on his head, completing the look.
NCP felt utterly stupid in his costume - it wasn't even worthy of being called a costume. Clearly the originality on the theme of lumber had dried up - he was, like so many tributes before him, a tree.
Benia giggled incessantly as the smoothed over her dress. It was pretty, very pretty indeed, and cunningly made with a curious cloth that appeared one colour one moment, another colour the next. She didn't approve of Angel's clothing - who would have the opportunitys of something as inspirational as textiles and promptly dress up as santa? Never mind. She smoothed her dress again.
Juan's arms were held out at awkward angles, held up by thin but deceptively strong wooden posts, giving him the look of someome being crucified. He had a battered, dirty cap on his head, and a straw of grain, complete with head protruding from the corner of his mouth. What was he? A scarecrow. Or so his stylist had told him.
Thaema swung the sythe absentmindedly, not really paying much attention to anything untill she heard a muffled grunt as the sythe hit something - someone, to be more accurate. She didn't apologise, and defiantly kept swinging the sythe, not looking at the person she'd hit. The person in question had been her district partner, but he didn't look too badly damaged, she noted from the corner of her eye. He seemed oddly resiliant to pain, and looked an idiot in his ridiculous costume. Shaking her head, she turned to her own outfit. Noting her ferocity, her styllist had taken the farmwife aspect from the district (although she'd never seen a farmwife brandishing a sythe) and toughened it up. The overall effect wasn't quite right untill she scowled or hurled abuse at anyone.
Luim pulled at the horns on his head and looked down at his patched black and white costume. As he did so, the bells on the collar around his neck clanked away jovially. A cow.
ERIN I JUST READ THAT YOU'D LET ME DECIDE WHAT THE 12 COSTUME IS....ARGHHHHafasfgsdgasdfghjkl...
KAi suspected some of the stylists stealing some ideas, there seemed to be quite of lot of gods hanging around tonight. Her own costume seemed to be something vaguely toga-like, and she carried a copper-coloured bowl with some odd-looking substance, which spouted a flame several metres into the air when light. She had only needed one demonstration and warning not to get her face above her bowl - did they think she was stupid?. A band of gold around each wrist and the wide band around the hem of her dress-toga-thing depicted the story of Prometheus, clearly the stylists wanted to make their message clear.

Re: The Hunger Games?
the interviews, i would guess. then maybe something between that and the arena? idk, maybe, maybe not.
Re: The Hunger Games?
Hello Anna-chan and oh christ interviews. *sigh* costumes were sloggish enough. Bleh. Good luck Baxan. I'm off to invest in therapy for too many damn bloody clothes -_________________________________-
Re: The Hunger Games?
Too lazy to describe the Elaine's costume, so I'm just picture linking because lazy:

And Daisy's would just be some inappropriate "santa's helper" thing -_-

Re: The Hunger Games?
It's just a type of car racing dude.... nothing to do with drag queens, and nothing particularly alarming....
Re: The Hunger Games?
about whether christo was gay or not. exactly the conversation you want to have with your boyfriend...
Re: The Hunger Games?
He could always bat for both teams -w- although congrats on your witty conversation, and to be fair, it is probably a conversation you would want to have with him before things got um....Serious? Or that's be awkward if he suddenly announced it
Re: The Hunger Games?
Just in case anyone hadn't sussed, I finished the costumes. I edited one of the previous posts.
Re: The Hunger Games?
So what next? I don't really fancy interviews. Perhaps Logan and Maishana could go forming to career pack?
Re: The Hunger Games?
Serrin feeling dapper is the best shit ever dude. and which district is Benia in...? and Logan and Maishana brohood is shipped over here.
Re: The Hunger Games?
you mean before the arena? sure.
from my characters, wings and cas would join the career pack. (wings=district 4, cas=district 2, so it's legit and career-y). max is from district 5, but he might hedge his bets with the career pack and see if he'd get in. he's ok, they might let him. i guess we'll see.

Re: The Hunger Games?
harriet, if you can acquire alcohol or other food/drink substance, firstly, you must say on the fb page, secondly, can i pay you and feel less guilty about not getting off my ass to see if i can magic my mother into buying stuff?
Re: The Hunger Games?
Benia? 8, with Angel. You confused me earlier, I thought Daisy was lumber with NCP. (Angel swapped)
I think Maishana would be my only career, andthough Thaema might.... . NCP's too noble, Juan's...well, Juan. And Kai's a twelve.
